"Ms. E is one of the most friendly, supportive, and adaptable counsellors that I have had the opportunity to interact with, both in a formal and casual context. Despite only meeting her on my first day of senior year, I immediately felt comfortable sharing my personal issues and concerns with her and always looked forward to dropping into her office to chat. When the notoriously stressful first semester of senior year rolled around, she was constantly by my side, whether to read essays and provide constructive criticism or to just check-in with a quick email or “staircase conversation” on the way to class. While some of my friends at university have told me how their counselors were not very receptive to them not following all feedback given, Ms. E was always very open to me choosing my own path with my essays and making executive decisions.
